Bank Negara Malaysia

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) (Central Bank of Malaysia) is a public institution that started operations in 1959. Its role is to promote monetary and financial stability.


It aims to provide an enabling environment for the sustainable growth of the Malaysian economy. The Board is composed of Central Sharia Advisory Authorities from nearly 20 countries, of which the Advisory Board of TKBB is a member. Active cooperation and dialogue is maintained for the development of the Islamic Finance ecosystem, especially in organizing joint programs.
