Statute of Limitations

"Deposits, participation funds, trusts, and receivables at banks, for which no request, transaction, or written instruction has been made by the rightful owner, will be subject to the statute of limitations if not requested within ten years from the date of the last such action."

In accordance with Article 8 of the Regulation published regarding the implementation of the aforementioned article, a list of deposits, participation funds, trusts, and receivables that have become subject to the statute of limitations is published between the beginning of February and the end of May on the banks' own websites and in a consolidated form on the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund’s website (www.tmsf.org.tr), as well as on the websites of the related Associations (The Banks Association of Türkiye - www.tbb.org.tr and the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye - www.tkbb.org.tr).

In accordance with Article 8 of the aforementioned Regulation, the list of deposits, participation funds, trusts, and receivables subject to the statute of limitations has been removed from the announcements.
