The Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB) hosted a delegation consisting of representatives from the Algerian Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Investment Fund (FNI), under the coordination of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD).

The meeting, hosted by TKBB Secretary General Mr. İsmail Vural and the accompanying delegation, comprehensively addressed topics such as the contribution of participation banking to financial inclusion, the relationship between participation finance instruments and practices with development banking, and the exchange of international experiences.

Within the framework of the program, presentations and evaluations delivered by TKBB’s Advisory Board experts and the Secretariat General shared insights on the development process of participation banking in Türkiye, institutional capacity-building activities, and TKBB’s approach to international cooperation. The meeting also included a mutual exchange of views on country-level practices, and potential areas of cooperation aimed at strengthening the participation finance ecosystem were discussed.

TKBB will continue to pursue its engagements aimed at strengthening international dialogue in participation finance, encouraging the sharing of good practices, and supporting financial inclusion in close cooperation with its stakeholders.
