The Finance Office of Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB) and the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) jointly organized a program titled "Malaysia's Financial Literacy and Financial Planning Experience" on November 19, 2024, hosted by Türk Eximbank for sector representatives in order to contribute to the participation finance ecosystem in Türkiye by sharing Malaysia's best practices in financial literacy and planning, and benefit from its experiences.

The opening speeches of the event were delivered by CBFO Vice President Mr. Necip Fazıl Kaymak and Deputy Secretary General of TKBB Mrs. Fatma Çınar. 

In the first session of the event, A comprehensive presentation titled "Malaysia Financial Literacy Strategy: The Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK) Transformative Contributions " was delivered by Mr. Azaddin Ngah Tasir, CEO of The Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit/AKPK) 

In the second session, Mafrukhin Mokhtar, Research Manager at AKPK, presented "Malaysia's Financial Literacy Strategy: Deep Dive into the Implementation and Way Forward".

In the last session, Mr. Anuar Shuib, Chairman of MFPC International Development Committee gave a comprehensive presentation titled ‘’Introduction to Financial Planning in Malaysia: Building a Financially Informed Nation" including examples of projects and activities carried out in Malaysia. Around 150 sector representatives attended the program.
