Islamic Finance Briefing Program, Organised for the First Time in Türkiye

ISLAMIC FINANCE BRIEFING PROGRAM,

ORGANISED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TÜRKİYE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PARTICIPATION BANKS ASSOCIATION OF TÜRKİYE AND SPEAKERS FROM MOODY'S RATINGS, HOSTED BY ALBARAKA TÜRK


Islamic Finance Briefing, which brings together senior representatives of local and international financial institutions, held its first meeting in Türkiye. They shared vital insights about the country’s place and importance in the global Islamic finance industry.

Islamic Finance Briefing is one of the most important gatherings of the Islamic finance world. It brings together analysts, investors, institutions and representative organisations at national and international level to share analyses of Islamic banking and Sukuk activities, and to discuss the latest developments and opportunities.

Albaraka Türk Participation Bank hosted the first Islamic Finance Briefing Program at its headquarters in Türkiye. The meeting was organised in cooperation with the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB) and Moody's Ratings and was attended by senior representatives of important institutions and organisations operating in Türkiye and around the world.

Attendees shared data and insights on Türkiye's economic outlook, the impact of emerging trends in the global and local context, the performance of the Sukuk market, and the future of Islamic finance. 



Türkiye's strategic importance in the growing Islamic finance sector and its role in the global market were among the prominent topics of the meeting.

Commenting on the meeting, Mr Malek TEMSAH, General Manager of Albaraka Türk Participation Bank, said:

Fatma Çınar, Deputy Secretary General of the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye, shared the following notes about the meeting:

"Islamic Finance Briefing is a very important meeting that brings together representatives of local and international financial institutions, aiming to guide investors in the right direction. Thanks to this organisation, which has a unique model in the world, we have access to financial information that concerns all stakeholders of the sector directly from the experts. Today, we held a multilateral discussion on the Islamic finance industry; we analysed the prominent developments from the perspective of both credit experts and practitioners of the sector, looked at the overall picture by covering current issues and shared our future agendas. We are very pleased to have taken part in the first organisation of Islamic Finance Briefing in Türkiye.
